Solvay's one-year curriculum that helps you start your career as a recognised expert in financial services, innovation, marketing and entrepreneurship. For ambitious career starters who are eager to benefit from a boost early on in targeted industries and activities that value depth and breadth of knowledge, Solvay's Advanced Masters provide an ideal path to recognition, employability and professional success.
We've created the different tracks we offer in our Advanced Masters by building on a century-old tradition of developing business leaders recognised for their outstanding ability to inspire and deliver. Solvay is very much about the alliance of rigour and entrepreneurial spirit, analytical thinking and creativity, deep knowledge and free-inquiry. These are some of the things our Advanced Masters bring our students to prepare them for shaping the future for themselves and for their company.
The five tracks in our Advanced Masters:
- Innovation & Strategic Management
- Innovation & Entrepreneurship NEW - in partnership with MIP Politecnico di Milano
- Creativity & Marketing
- Quantitative Finance

A job contract before the degree! Sebastian Louwaege secured a job at PWC in November 2015, just 2 months after the start of classes, and is enjoying his holidays in Paris knowing he’ll be starting a thrilling position as a Financial Management Consultant in September. Join the Solvay Advanced Master in Financial Markets like he did. Registrations for September 2016 are still on! http://am.solvay.edu/ Solvay - When and how were you hired? Sebastian – I was hired in November 2015. A few weeks before, we had an in-class a presentation from several PWC employees organised within the programme framework. They told us about their vacancies, so I sent my CV the following week and I quickly got a reply. Solvay - What will be your position and duties at PWC? Sebastian – I will be a Financial Management Consultant. In practice, this means I will make recommendations in management to the CFO and the Financial Department of the company as a whole. I will help with cost management, ERP systems, cost accounting, strategic planning, etc. Solvay - How did your experience at Solvay help you in getting the job? Sebastian – Obviously, thanks to this company presentation organised by the Academic Director, I heard about the vacancies and types of profiles PWC was looking for, which lead to my application. In addition, the fact that an Alumnus of the programme was part of the employees who visited us, definitely facilitated my recruitment as she knew the quality of the programme and was convinced of the professional skills I would acquire through the year.

A job contract before the degree! Lien Goethals secured a job in one of the biggest consulting firms in the world in Easter 2016, and is enjoying her summer knowing she’ll be starting an exciting position as a business analyst in September. Join the Solvay Advanced Master in Innovation and Strategic Management like she did. Registrations for September 2016 are still on! http://am.solvay.edu/ Solvay - When and how were you hired? Lien - I was hired a week before the easter holidays through the normal recruitment process (although previously, I participated in the company's graduate program: master class). Solvay - What will be your position and duties? Lien - I will be starting as a management consultant (business analyst) in the department of products, helping big clients in Belgium and abroad solve issues with innovative ideas; to make sure they are ready to face their challenging futures. Solvay - How did your experience at Solvay help you in getting the job? Lien: Solvay helped me in securing this job through the 1-on-1 coaching sessions with the career coach: I could ask her specific and personal questions, and she advised me based on her own experience in consulting. Also, the fact that my master was in innovation and strategy was very appealing to the company, as they also try to be innovative in everything they do.
