The Triple Station is a test centre located at the Gasthof Zillertal in Mayrhofen. With Bataleon, Switchback and Lobster kit available for free testing, this test centre is going to be the TITS! THE TRIPLE STATION   

We are stoked to present 'The Triple Station': A test centre for Triple Base Technology snowboards and Switchback Bindings. The Base will operate out of the Gasthof Zillertal in Mayrhofen: Near the centre of town and in easy reach of the lift stations.

The Gasthof is the perfect venue for a test centre: Open to all, with a generous test station office that doubles as a tuning area. Plus there is a bar: The Riders Lounge, which is also open to non-residents. This means that you can drop your board off and enjoy an après beer with like-minded folks. Careful though, the Riders Lounge is known for heavy parties so you may end up dancing in your snowboard boots at 1 a.m.

Long time Bataleon family member David Van Gessel is running the show and he really knows his shit about our products. Anyone can drop in to see Dave, talk through what they hope to achieve, borrow some test kit and then go riding for the day and surpass their own expectations! We have always said ‘don’t believe us!’ because we are confident that our products are sick. Try TBT and see if you go back.

It will be FREE to borrow a board and/or bindings for a day. Alternatively, ‘Test Passes’ are available for only 15 euros. For that, you get to test four different boards, a day on each and we even throw in a couple of free beers in the Riders Lounge. How many other test centres offer that? (None, that’s how many).

The Triple Station will be open daily between 17:00 and 20:00. Between these times David will be on hand to give help and advice about the right equipment for you to borrow and make sure that every returned board is in top condition, ready for the next test.

if you need to, you are also welcome to take your own board down to The Triple Station and use our wax, iron, scrapers, files etc to give her a tune up and have a chat with Dave. There is absolutely no obligation to take the free test day! Damn, we know what you need.

Other stuff on the go at The Triple Station and The Gasthof includes; freestyle clinics and video days to help you get absolutely the most out of your testing, random parties and skateboard days in the Riders Lounge, contests and challenges, pro signings, goodie giveaways, yard sales, board build clinics and the weekly Swagger Party, every Wednesday. The Riders lounge also features competitive booze prices and free wi-fi.

If you do a day riding on any board and can’t last another day without it, we are working with the HotZone shop in Mayrhofen. They will be carrying stock of all of the boards available in The Triple Station so you can turn your love affair into a marriage on the spot. We don’t have a dwarf dressed up as Elvis to conduct the ceremony but David is the next best thing. We also give an extra special, surprise gift to everyone who buys a board from the Hotzone.
