This mindfulness meditation course is designed for beginners to meditation. The course schedule includes mindfulness of the body, breathing, emotions, thoughts and movement. Other types of meditation found in the course will be some chanting, gratitude, guided imagery and learning how to integrate mindfulness into everyday living. There are some spots remaining in the Wednesday night course which will begin Wednesday 2nd August at 7.45pm. Classes run for a little over an hour. Each class costs $15 or $10 concession. To learn mindfulness meditation, is to reconnect with your own true nature. It is to go beyond the surface of the mind, the excessive thoughts, cravings, desires, addictions, reactions and aversions and move into a sense of peace, freedom and happiness. This does not necessarily come easily and can take initial effort to tame this monkey mind that controls our every move. The first step is inward. We are now fully booked for this course.
