Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre
Description
The Centre is a hub of information and support for parents, giving parents an opportunity to connect with others and access professional lactation support. The Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre is Breastfeeding Information and support delivered differently. The truth is, we are there to support all families in Warrnambool and surrounding areas. At a minimum you will find a warm, clean and friendly place to hang out, breastfeed your baby, warm a bottle and go to the toilet.
But the Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre is much more than that! It is a centre for breastfeeding information and support for health professionals and families.
GUIDELINES FOR THE WARRNAMBOOL BREASTFEEDING CENTRE FACEBOOK PAGE - Please read before posting
The Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre Facebook page is here to enable the wider community to connect with and support the work of the Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre (WBC). You may post questions on here or information that you find interesting or helpful and that promote and support breastfeeding.
The WBC sees breastfeeding existing as part of a continuum – where pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and early parenting are all interconnected. We value an inclusive, supportive and respectful community and encourage open dialogue about issues broadly related to breastfeeding. Therefore, abusive, derogatory or discriminative language, posts, comments, articles and photos will not be tolerated. We also value positive relationships with both the general community and health professionals, and ask that you keep this in mind when posting. Individual posts made by members do not necessarily reflect the ideas or beliefs of the WBC.
The WBC Facebook Page is open to all, but is moderated and has the right to remove posts, comments, articles, photos and members if Admin deems necessary.
If you have any concerns, questions or requests, please feel free to personal message the Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre Facebook Administration.

Today! 11am at The Pavillion (sorry for the short notice) . Our fabulous photographer, Stacey will be at the Pavillion. We are looking for some photos for our upcoming seminar and a revamp for our website. So, come on down to the Pavillion and get some photos done. You don't have to actually breastfeed if you are feeling shy! Bonus - you will get free copies of your photos for you to keep. So come on down.
