Hope everyone is having a relaxing few days if you are lucky enough to have some time off over the Christmas period! I'm definitely loving some down time with the family, but still love being in the kitchen! All my treats are gluten free but as long term followers would know, I'm all about eating a range of whole, clean foods. Myself and my family aren't gluten intolerant so I just try to bake clean for them so they aren't filling up on a heap of processed crap full of sugar. I don't eat a lot of gluten but it's important to teach kids a balanced healthy way of eating imo. I think reducing refined sugars and chemicals/preservatives is most important if you don't have intolerances. And yes, all care is taken to not cross contaminate products, I even bake gluten/dairy products on separate days to Clean Eats baking days 👌 But anyway, back to the picture 😅 I was making banana bread for my boys snacks and if you love making clean snacks for your kiddies, just be sure to check your labels! Health from the inside out! 👌🌿 I never really realised how important gut health is until a couple of weeks ago, it's amazing how much difference healthy insides make. I wasn't eating on point as much as I usually was before and I definitely noticed the differences. Bad gut health can mean bad moods, bloating, hormone problems, digestion problems, poor immunity, altered mental state, bad skin, inability to lose weight.. the list goes on!
