The Glennie School is a private Anglican School for Girls in Toowoomba, QLD, providing education for Kindy to Year 12, Boarding from Year 6. As an all-girls day and boarding school, located in Toowoomba, QLD, The Glennie School provides a well-rounded primary and secondary education, framed by the Christian values with the Anglican ethos.

Our vision is to develop in each Glennie girl intellectual, physical and spiritual potential to be All She Can Be. Glennie Girls are to be educated to the highest academic standards of which they are capable.

In this Queensland School Libraries Week, we are so thankful for the wonderful staff and resources we have available in our libraries on both the Junior and Middle and Seniors Years campuses at Glennie. Our very own Teacher-Librarian Mrs Marie Miegel is the Darling Downs representative on the Queensland School Library Association Council. Today she spoke with David Iliffe from ABC Southern Queensland radio about the importance of Teacher-Librarians and the wealth of knowledge and impact they can have on a student learning experience. Glennie Old Girl and now Doctor Sarah Ayles (GOG 2009) has returned to Glennie on a number of occasions to share her tertiary study experience with current Glennie girls. Heartwarming to see she now returns to the region for her intern program commitments.

The Chronicle have kindly shared some footage captured by Rod Benson of the skydivers landing at The Glennie Fair on Sunday along with an interview with Mr Jason Lipp (P & F President) and some footage of the Fair.
