Our very own fearless projects team member Ted is over at Napier (NZ) assembling the Chesterhope clip on cycleway. We sent it in 4 containers from toowoomba and Ted is training the kiwis on assembly of our composite components, and this week he got the first bay (of 60) installed! We have a way to go but Ted has put in a massive effort to set this project up - and make sure all the sections fit! Great work Ted keep it up!

This evening our first international project for our Custom Build team was dispatched, with 4 Flat Rack containers full of prefabricated FRP components leaving the yard. They are now on route to Hastings, NZ, where they will be preassembled in a factory and then installed on site. The components will make up a 400m long "Clip on Cycleway". Congratulations to Ross and the Custom Build team, they were relieved to see another project leave on schedule! Well done guys!

Waters Creek pedestrian project bridges milestone

We made headlines in the Beaudesert Times! Bridges can be more than a method of getting from A to B, they provide social linkages for communities, and improved safety. Combine this with long lasting maintenance free composite fibre materials and these bridges become real assets to communities.

Waters Creek Pedestrian Bridge - Beaudesert Another fantastic pedestrian structure leaving the workshop this week - this truss bridge is 18m long and has a 2.5m wide traffic width. This one left the workshop this-morning and by tonight will be sitting in place at Beaudesert. The structure is made up of our composite fibre pultruded sections for the main truss elements, a FRP 'Covertop' Mesh for decking and powdercoated aluminium ballustrade made by our steel fabrication shop in Toowoomba. The bridge will be delivered by Wagners Transport of course - with our regular driver Ian - look after it Ian!
