GUITAR TEACHING
Hello, my name is Ross and I teach guitar form my home studio in Scarborough. I charge $30 per half hour lesson, and my qualifications include the Bachelor of Music (from WAAPA @ ECU) and the Graduate Diploma of Education (from ECU). I play⁄teach many styles, including Rock, Jazz, Funk, Pop and Blues, and can play⁄teach acoustic and electric guitar. I like to teach all ages, ranging from kids to adults, and all levels, from beginner to advanced.
LIVE ACOUSTIC GUITAR DUO - MINKY G & ROSCO
Myself and my girlfriend play in a guitar duo called 'Minky G & Rosco', and we specialise in playing at events like weddings and corporate events, and also at venues such as cafes, small bars, restaurants and markets. We are two acoustic guitars plus lead female vocals, and play a mix of our originals plus awesome covers done in our own way!
DJ FOR WEDDINGS (Vermin JukeBox)
I also play DJ sets at weddings, parties and corporate functions, as well as providing the PA (up to 200 people indoors). I have one rule - I am only available to provide DJ services if there is live music involved in the event, for instance whenever I DJ at wedding receptions, we always play some live acoustic music for the first half of the reception and then I DJ for the second half, which works well. I specialise in current hits, old classics and funky grooves!
