Starting THIS Monday!!!

Today is the end of an era for both Danielle and I as well as Bernie and Anne with the McDonalds Australia brand. We have been welcomed into the community and made our way in a somewhat challenging environment to make the most of every opportunity we could within Portland. We always focused on the positives, addressed the negatives and put our selves out there to give us the best opportunity in business and as part of the community to support local employment and lobby for change for the better within the region. We would like to extend a thank you to all of our staff, contractors and community groups for their support over the past 6 years and we know that the new owners will continue to see value in strong community support like we have. Today we leave behind 70+ staff in the capable hands of Bryce and Liz Crick - Franchisees of Naracoorte and Mount Gambier restaurants - who between them have over 40 years experience with the McDonalds brand. It will be business as usual as they begin their next adventure in Portland - bringing their skills, passion and knowledge to the Portland business as well as opening up further opportunities for the staff at Portland to grow their skills and knowledge within their expanding organisation.
