I would just like to apologise for not being on here for some time now. I have been quite unwell & my computer shuts down whenever it decides to. I am currently looking at getting a new computer. My health is gradually improving, which is good. Still not up to doing any markets as yet though. I will keep you posted as soon as I am feeling upto returning to the market scene again...soon I hope!

Hi all. Firstly I would like to apologise to my customers at the Port Pirie Producers Market today. I was unable to get there this morning due to a couple of the side effects of one of the medications that I am weaning off. Be glad when finally off the damn thing...another few weeks to persevere. Lol. Secondly, I did make a large fresh pot of Welsh Cawl, with lots of Vegies & Diced Lamb for the Market. Hmmmm, it tasted so good when I was making it, that I had to have a bowl when it was finished. just had another bowl for part of my evening meal...So tempting to go back for another! Lol

Well, yesterday, Sunday, I did the Port Germein Foreshore Market again...out of a full Pie Warmer, I came home with 1 x Katt Pie & 1 x Spicy Beef Pie & some pancakes. That was my dinner last night...what can I say, YUM! In talking with one of the organisers, (who loves my Minted Lamb Oggies). She asked me if there was anything other Welsh Food I make & sell. I told her a few others, including Faggots & Peas...she said that she had that when she was touring the UK & was in Wales at the time. So was asked to make some Ffagots a Phys (Faggots & Peas) well as Selsig Glamorgan (Glamorgan Sausages) & perhaps Cawl Cymraeg (Welsh Cawl) & Tatws a Cennin Cawl (Potato & Leek soup). So, hopefully, will get a good response. I will look at introducing these at the next Port Pirie Producers Market in the meantime. Hey all you Welshies in & around Port Augusta & Whyalla. I am awaiting a call from the organisers from the Wharfest in Port Augusta, to see if I can have a Stall there in August...perhaps you may be able to go to their FB Page, Port Augusta Wharfest & leave a message asking about Welsh Food availability? may give them some encouragement. LOL For all you Welshies in Adelaide. At this stage, I am aiming to have a Stall at the Adelaide Farmers Market, at this stage, the first Sunday of July, 2nd. This to still to be confirmed...I will keep you posted. My Welsh Dragon Cookie Cutter finally arrived today, so I will be able to do some Welsh Dragon Ginger Bread Cookies as well now! So, lots going on behind the scenes!

Well, yesterday was a great day at the Port Pirie Producers Market....SOLD OUT of ALL my KATT PIES, MINTED LAMB OGGIES & CHICKEN/BACON OGGIES. What beautiful weather it was too & the general atmosphere at the Market was also great. Let's now just hope & pray for another nice, clear day, weather wise, for this coming Saturday at the KERNEWEK LOWENDER ( Cornish Festival). I have a lot of cooking to do this week for it. Later this week, I will be post a list on here, of all the Welsh Food that I will have with me. If anyone would like to pre-order any, to collect on the day, then please, by all means let me know & inbox me? Lol. I can have your order pre-packed & frozen if you wish. Hope to see as many Welsh People as possible on the day...just look for the Welsh Flag proudly flying!

An interesting read! Hope to see as many Welsh People at the Kernewek Lowender, Cornish Festival as possible. After speaking with the Local Historian, there hasn't been any Welsh involvement/festivities in the region for many decades. He said that I would be about the first that he knew of, to take part in this Festival & welcomed it. He also said that there are still some locals in Wallaroo, who are Welsh Descendants. So it would be fantastic for as many other Welsh People within SA, to come along & show that we are here. LOL

Hi everyone. Back again, finally...as some of you may be aware, I've been having a few health issues lately. However in saying that, I have still been working in the background on something for a while now & is almost there. Soon, you will be able to order some of my Welsh Food & other Food Items from this Facebook Page & they will be delivered by Australia Post. Unfortunately, at present at least, any food that requires refrigeration, will not be able to be posted, naturally. However, I will continue to work on a way around that. Getting closer to the time of launch, I will advise what will be available, prices, etc. Just in the process of setting up Payment/Banking details for Facebook. The other exciting news. I will be having a Stall at the big Cornish Festival...Kernewek Lowender at Kadina, on May 20th., which is only held every 2 years. Although this is a Cornish Festival, being the Copper Coast, the Cornish did the mining there, but they got the Welsh expertise to run the Smelter at Wallaroo. Which is where the largest remaining Welsh Smelter Stack, is still standing in Wallaroo. So, I feel honoured to be able to have a Stall there this year with my Welsh Food. I will also have some other Handcrafted & Homemade Welsh Themed items on sale as well...some to commemorate the opportunity to be a part of it. So, I hope to see as many of you as possible on the 20/5/17...Just keep a look out for the both, the Welsh & St. David Flags (my St. David 's Flag should arrive next week).

I felt this take place today. Due to my health issues over the past few weeks, I've been quite anxious about getting everything done in time for the Market...I've been fortunate & had my Son Rhys, with me since Friday afternoon, who has helped me finish preparing for & helped at the Port Germein Market today...the day was a huge success & we have both enjoyed the whole day & evening...THANK YOU SO MUCH SON!
