Aurablue Electric employees 9 team members comprising of 4 Licensed Electricians with over 60 years combined experience, an Electrical Apprentice with operational and administrative support staff. We have 5 service vehicles fully equipped and we utilize technology and smart devices to help with our service delivery.

With winter on its way lets talk smoke detectors. Its law to have at least one working Photoelectric smoke alarm on every level of your home. All bedrooms and hallways that lead to sleeping areas are to be interconnected. Hard-wired with a 10 year life and battery back up are recommended by FRNSW. Alarms need to meet Australian Standards (AS3786). Contact a qualified and licensed Electrician to install hard wired smoke alarms to protect those that matter most.

What colour should I choose for LED lighting? If you want task based lighting for working in offices, kitchens and bathrooms then a cooler colour would create less strain on the eyes and a truer colour for these spaces. Warm white is a very popular colour in living areas due to a softer more traditional colour. Avoid mixing colours in the same space to minimise noticeable colour differences. Manufacturers have started to introduce down lights to the market that offer the ability to change between colour variations. Ultimately it is personal preference and depends upon your needs.

A safety recall has been initiated by Eaton Industries for their Quicklag ELQ Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker. Further information can be sent to help you identify suspect parts (see picture).
