SSD offers specialist training of rider and horse combination, with a focus on bio mechanically accurate training. Horses for sale and agistment available Southern Stars Dressage is situated on 157 picturesque, undulating, pasture improved acres. Directly north of Newcastle, we are close to the beaches of Port Stephens and coastal holiday towns of Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest.
Comprising a small dressage training centre, SSD offers the novice rider and the dressage enthusiast a selection of services, in particular, specialist training of the rider and horse combination, with a focus on bio mechanically accurate training. We offer the opportunity to purchase both young stock and going horses and from time to time have agistment availability.
Southern Stars Dressage is the home of Eque-Fitt Australia with Tanase Peckham, a fully qualified Fitness Coach specialising in Rider Bio mechanics. Deb Peckham is an industry insured Animal Acupuncture Practitioner and a member of the International Institute of Complementary Therapies. Deb is available to treat both horses and companion animals.
Southern Stars Dressage boasts a competition size dressage arena, round yard, tie up area, wash bay and sheltered day yards placed in attractively landscaped surrounds. The main horse facility provides a calm and peaceful outlook for both the horses and riders in training.

Southern Empyress 6 days old and ironing out nicely. Still a touch more straightening and strengthening of her little legs needed, so a break out in the sunshine while the box is cleaned thoroughly. Got to see her beautiful, elevated little trot too! So not used to such tiny, dainty little bubbas ;-) Yes, she will be for sale.
