Just thought i would illustrate something to all you photography enthusiasts. With a little bit of effort you CAN turn your photos from plain and boring to beautiful. Just because you see a nice photo it doesnt always mean that the photographer has really expensive equipment in order to get those shots. The second photo was taken with a phone. The first was only taken with a DSLR and the use of an LED light to "light paint" the car. ANY dslr camera that is capable of setting the shutter speed can do this. It just takes a little bit of time and some creativity to do it!

One thing I love about photography is there are so many ways you can photograph the same subject. Heres a light painted image i shot of my 4wd last night. 10 Layers to light up each panel and angle individually and about 6 hours work for 1 image.

Yellow rock in Pokolbin State Forest is a site of cultural significance and i can see why. With views like that if i was aboriginal i probably would of spent a good whack of my time there as well! hope to get back up there some day its been a while.

Busted my back recently and been feeling pretty sorry for my self lately so decided to blow the dust off my camera and get out of the house. Dry winter air makes for some pretty nice afternoon light here. Dont wanna waste it! And my 4wd sure is photogenic now since its makeover!

Our boy Declan sure is his daddy's boy. Absolutely loves anything with wheels. Couldn't care less about any other toy unless it has wheels and he can push it around making car noises. As you can imagine his mother is less then impressed as she is a horse lover and she knows he will grow up having too much fun on wheels to be playin with no darn pony! But what do you think, does the cowboy life suit him? (I have to admit he does look cute as hell in these)
