Stepping Stones Family Day Care by Rachael is based in Waratah, and aims to provide the highest quality care for parents and children of Newcastle. My name is Rachael. I'm an enthusiastic, fun-loving, caring person. I find looking after children is something that comes natural to me; I have two sons of my own, one of which has started primary school this year (2016), and my youngest is four years old. Being at home all the time with my youngest son, I feel that I'm in the ideal position to run a family daycare.
I will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, as I know from personal experience the importance of good reliable Childcare; one that offers parents peace of mind when leaving their child in a trusted and safe setting. I also believe I can provide the best standard of care from my home; a place where I will make it my priority to ensure your child feels safe, cared for, nurtured, and will of course have lots of fun - just like their own home. As there will only be a few children under my care at any one time, those children who I am caring for will have the advantage of constant adult supervision, and more one-on-one interaction with their carer and other children (unlike large daycare centres). My focus is on creating a top quality family daycare for the parents and children of Newcastle.
I am a registered daycare centre meaning parents can claim Government assistance such as CCB CCR when sending their children to Stepping Stones Family Daycare.

When sending your child to Stepping Stones family day care you are entitled to financial aid provided by the government such as Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR). What does this mean? CCB: Based on your income you are entitled to an amount of hours paid directly to your care provider meaning that your out of pocket expenses are a lot less if any at all. CCR: A fortnightly or lump sum payment that is paid directly to parents to assist in the out of pocket costs of child care.
