Finally, our students are able to enjoy the beautiful Spring/start of Summer weather over the weekend. We took advantage of that, and swam with dolphins! These are wild dolphins that are not caged, fed or tamed. They are completely wild, playful, free and happy in their natural habitat. We were very fortunate to have swam with them for a great couple of hours! Here's some pictures from the amazing weekend.

North West Trip, Semester 2, 2016 by Deirdre Chaigneau "10 days, 30 people, more than 4,000 kilometres travelled and over 35 places visited…it was a study break not to be forgotten! We made new friends, saw things we've never seen and did things we wouldn't even imagine doing on Exchange. A short summary: "Up at 6 am, gone by 7 am. That was the slogan of the week! An early start every day for 10 days and because of that we were able to do and see so many things! Our North West adventure involved hiking mountains, exploring and swimming in gorges, witnessing living stones (stromatolites), snorkelling in Coral Bay with marine life (humpback whales, tiger sharks, and sting rays), feeding dolphins and sailing a catamaran in Monkey Mia, getting a tan on every beach we sat on, witnessing romantic sunsets, and sleeping under beautiful stary night skies. But at the end of every tiring day, we get to end it with a yummy dinner; amazing food with the company of amazing people. Although many hours were spent on the bus, we were able to catch up on some sleep, sang song after song and will occasionally stop for snacks and drinks. The tents were an adventure on its own! Looking back we can now laugh at what was the most challenging night we encountered, as we were absolutely drenched in our tents, soaked to the skin in the middle of the night!. But we adored those tents and they made us feel like true campers. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our tour guides from Australian Adventure Travel Craig, Norm and Kevin. They are so knowledgeable and so good at what they do. Also, a big thank you to Brodie for supervising and being the amazing woman you are. We had heaps of fun. Now, let's go back!"
