Another congrats is in order for our School of Engineering and Information Technology! Following their national recognition at the iAwards in September, the FlexiBrains project team has now won the merit award in the Tertiary Student category at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards in Taiwan. Well done to all students and staff involved in this award-winning IT project. FlexiBrains is a web-based application that was developed to help rehabilitate stroke survivors. Congrats to Murdoch graduate Dalibor Borkovic for being recognised as WA's most talented IT student for 2016! Dalibor was presented with the Australian Computer Society’s 1962 prize for his exemplary problem solving skills and ability to systematically solve IT issues. The prize adds to his achievements at Murdoch, as he also won the University medal, and shared the Jim Ellis Prize for Best IT graduate. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Internetworking and Security, as well as Cyberforensics, Information Security and Management), Dalibor is now ensuring critical business systems and cyber security are maintained at a global firm.
