You may have seen a little glimpse of a new logo in our last post. We are now up and running with 'Illawarra Precast Homes' which is a new trading name of Crump Constructions. Nothing else has changed but we feel this branding more accurately reflects what we do in this part of the business. A new facebook page is in operation and the website is live! A little over two weeks and the roof is now on and first two coats of texture paint system has been applied to the walls! We'll have a floor slab by the end of the week and achieve lock-up about another week after that. Custom built, high quality homes with great build times. You might even catch a glimpse of our new branding for these unique houses!

We've been lucky so far today with the predicted rain holding off for the moment. Just the small parts of the trussed roof frame to finish this afternoon and we're ready for our COLORBOND steel roof.

Time to wrap it up for the week on this knock-down/rebuild project. Fourteen working days since panel install and we have the slab down, a complete roof and all the internal wall frames. Don't be mistaken, this is not a low spec build. This house will have double glazed windows, 2.7 metre ceilings, floor heating, ducted air, fireplace and all the nice trimmings. An early start for our concrete crew on a brisk morning in the Southern Highlands. Only two weeks since we lifted our panels into position and since then we've erected the roof trusses, installed the fascia and gutter, applied the first coat of texture paint to the external walls and prepared reinforcing for today's pour. Not only are our homes thermally superior and high quality, they can be completed in much less time than a brick veneer build. We also will build on rural blocks!
