Dr Benjamin Yang graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry (Honours) in 2008. Prior to that, Ben completed a Bachelor Degree in Medical Science (Honours) at the University of New South Wales.
Ben keeps abreast of the latest in dental technology and science by continuing his education and attending courses in the fields of restorative dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy) and cosmetic dentistry (New York University).
Ben enjoys helping and rehabilitating nervous patients back into trusting dentists again, which means they are more likely to keep their dental health on track. His gentle and reassuring nature allows him to do this easily.
Ben believes dentistry combines the best of art and science, both of which he enjoys.

Maviel has recently joined our team at Gentle Care Dentistry as a registered Oral Health Therapist (dual-qualified as a Hygienist and Therapist). She graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Sydney, whilst dental assisting between her studies. She is an enthusiastic learner and continues her professional development through lectures, events and hands-on courses. Maviel is a down-to-earth person with a warm and friendly personality. She cares greatly for each of her patients and enjoys treating all ages, and is especially encouraging and patient to those whom the dental visit is a new experience! In her spare time she loves reading, travelling, acting (she also holds a degree in Acting for Screen and Stage) and spending time with family and friends. Maviel is available at Gentle Care Dentistry by appointment on Thursday.

Dr. Bill Henry graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney. He has practiced in Sydney, UK, Tasmania and the Hunter Valley—where he was in solo practice for 30 years. He has practiced in the Hornsby area for the last 9 years. Special interests in the dental field include periodontics, crown and bridge work, endodontics, sleep dentistry and orofacial pain. His attentive and considerate style of treatment ensures that Bill’s patients will always have a positive experience when in his care. He believes that with proper care, everybody can have a lifetime of good teeth. Bill is available at Gentle Care Dentistry by appointment on Tuesday and Wednesday.
