Drama therapy (Counselling) and Coaching Service.
I want to support you in maximising your potential and in discovering new possibilities and directions. Dramatherapy and Creative Coaching can reawaken more playful and instinctual parts of ourselves which may be lost or suppressed due to the demands of the adult world. Allowing spontaneity and imagination to speak for us, can give new ways to tackle problems and to think about issues. A heightened creativity can often be the key to unlocking change in ones life.
Role play, improvisation, myth, ritual, storytelling and movement provide the context to explore your own story, extending the depth and breadth of your inner experience; and allows you to set new goals, solve problems or express feelings.

I use methods that are playful and creative but also thought-provoking.
The aim is to optimize self-management and provide a platform for ongoing development. We are better able to manage ourselves when we understand particular patterns in our lives. By recognizing and understanding these patterns we can move forward in our lives with purpose, responsibility and conscious awareness. This involves clarity of perception and acceptance of responsibility so that change becomes possible. Maximizing this skill liberates us form repetitive cycles and opens up a whole range of unforeseen possibilities. The is the active consideration of the present and the vision of the future. When you look up from the ground the sky is the limit!

This is your brain on art: A neuroscientist’s lessons on why abstract art makes our brains hurt so good

Interesting read: "Thus the reason abstract art poses such an enormous challenge to the beholder is that it teaches us to look at art — and, in a sense, at the world — in a new way. Abstract art dares our visual system to interpret an image that is fundamentally different from the kind of images our brain has evolved to reconstruct." http://www.salon.com/2016/12/18/this-is-your-brain-on-art-a-neuroscientists-lessons-on-why-abstract-art-makes-our-brains-hurt-so-good/
