Drawing is a fundamental art skill, as well as a lot of fun! Our Junior students have been working hard on building their skills this term. Last week we did some observational drawing from photographs. The students did some warm ups on their own - focusing on shapes. Then we did a guided drawing together. Our teacher Sam helped the students break down a beetle - starting with big shapes and then adding tiny details. Aren't they gorgeous? These drawings are by Sam and Melody.
