Lawn Bowls in Eltham, venue hire for functions and parties.
Pennant bowls, Social bowls, Barefoot bowls and Forty/40 competition.  Ever though of playing Lawn Bowls before? Want to play a sport which doesn't require you to throw your body at someone else, or doesn't involve you having to be a super fit athlete to take part?

Lawn Bowls could be for you. It's a sport that almost anyone can play. It's easy to learn, but hard to master, and a whole lot of fun trying. Try something new, meet new people, keep active, and most of all, enjoy one of the most social sports going around.

Eltham Bowling Club participate in Bowls Victoria competitions (Pennant Competitions) throughout Summer, both on Tuesday and Saturday. Despite being a smaller club, we have experiences some successes, and currently have 4 sides representing the club in Division 1 tournaments across pennant competition. We also have plenty of teams in lower divisions, so anyone can play, no matter whether they are a first time player, or a 700 game bowler.

We also run social bowling on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the winter, and Wednesdays during summer. It's a great chance to improve your skills in a fun environment, while meeting new people and having a laugh.

We have a number of very friendly, accredited coaches at the club, who are always available to help you learn the basics, or help you improve.

We also run a Forty/40 competition in the summer months, over 6 Friday nights. This is a social competition where full club members are not able to play, with big cash prizes and  a fun, friendly environment.

If you've never played before, and want to see what all the fuss is about, you can join us for the whole season, playing as many social and pennant games as you like, for $50.

As a member, you can also take advantage of our licensed premises, with drinks at a very low members price.

Summer is well and truly gone. However, that doesn't mean the bowls club shuts down. Wednesday and Saturday Social Bowls begin on Saturday May 7. There are door prizes, cash prizes for winners, and it is a great way to stay in touch during the winter. The usual green fee is $7. However, you can choose to pay a winter levy of $60, which reduces your green fee to $2. If you are going to play regularly, this is by far the best option. Hope to see you all at the club!

We wish the very best of luck to our Night Pennant bowlers, who are taking on Bundoora in the Division 1 final of the North East District Night Pennant competition. It has been a successful season to this point, with Eltham defeating some of the best bowlers this district has to offer. May you play hard, but fair, enjoy yourselves, and hopefully walk away with the title. If you are not doing anything this evening, why not come down to Rosanna Bowls Club from 7pm and support the 12 bowlers taking part. It promises to be a fun occassion.
