About Us

Mission Statement: The SpringDale Neighbourhood Centre provides community strengthening services to improve the quality of life for all the residents of the North Bellarine.

Vision: SpringDale means something to each member of our community.

SpringDale Neighbourhood Centre

SpringDale Neighbourhood Centre Inc. is a community based, not for profit organisation, which provides a community focus and meets local aspirations for lifestyle, education, recreation, health, social contact and participation in a comfortable and friendly environment, which is accessible to all. At any one time you are likely to find a variety of classes being conducted and Special Interest Groups occupying the hall, kitchen, the computer room and the recreation room and maybe small groups playing board games or cards in the foyer.

SpringDale Neighbourhood Centre has five core service areas, which are:

1.SpringDale Publications – keeping people connected!

2.Classes – providing new skills and nurturing existing skills!
3.Family Services – providing options to parents/caregivers and children!
4.Interest Groups – encouraging social interaction in a casual atmosphere!
5.Community Support – ensuring that the community has access to facilities!

Just over 100 people through the door yesterday making 511 for the whole Summit at SpringDale event. Discussion contunued til after 5pm. Many survey forms back - hopefully more to follow. Infornation folders still available for viewing. Uploading information onto our website continues. Thank you for participating, thank you for bringing other people back to view, thank you for making the Summit such a success. Thanks to everyone who helped.

So happy more than 250 people called into the Summit at SpringDale on the first day - I was hoping for more than 1000 attendees over the five days - we are well on the way to the number. VicRoads have left some information and a simulation, Geelong Cemeteries Trust will be there first thing in the morning and heaps of info. Hooe to see you there 9am to 5pm and there will be a number of healers as well - hope you can call in

Summit at SpringDale starts today. 10am Citizens Jury session. 3pm VicRoads, Police, City of Geelong 30 year visioning project, Geelong Cemeteries Trust and more please donate 30 minutes to help us prioritise the community topics and issues.

Digital Tools to Grow Your Customer Community 19.10.16

So much happening at SpringDale over the next few days - Bellarine Camera Club exhibition this weekend. It was a great honour to open it for the Club last night. On Monday 17 October the Small Business Victoria bus will be at SpringDale for the day and on Wednesday 19 October 9.30am - 11.30am there is a session for business "Using digital tools to grow your customer community" presenter Liz Grant please book for this session using www.trybooking.com/NISA Please feel free to share this with anyone you think might be interested in one or more of these activities. Next Saturday we have a 4 session course starting on Growing food in Raised Garden Beds - this course has been successfully run 3 other times - feedback has been great.
