Description
The Arts Centre is an arts hub for Cootamundra and the surrounding district. The Arts Centre Cootamundra hosts a range of spaces for performing arts activites and events including the Exhibition Room, Tin Shed Theatre which includes dressing rooms and artists residence, Visual Arts Studio and Drawing Room.
The Arts Centre Cootamundra is a venue which provides facilities for Arts activities in the Cootamundra Shire. It aims to promote the development and expansion of the Arts in the shire by supporting local artists and performers. The Arts Centre also contributes to the cultural development of the Shire and expand the depth and breadth of recreational activities available.

The Arts Centre Presents "Aladdin and his Wonderful Magical Lamp" A Pantomime directed by Isabel Scott - we require High School age youth to audition for 2 key roles in this performance, if you are interested in auditioning for these roles rehearsals start at the end of January. The plays will be held at the end of March and early April.

Cootamundra Shire Council
The Arts Centre Cootamundra is very pleased to announce that Cootamundra Creative Arts Inc has been awarded one of the Cootamundra Gundagai Regional Council Stronger Communities Grants. The arts centre with back up from the theatre users group (movies, Miss Em's Drama, Chris Edwards School of Dance, Dance with Nadia, CADAS and others) made an application for funding to help instal new air conditioning system to the theatre. It's going to be great and we hope to introduce you all to it this summer!
