THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GRACIE JIU JITSU AND BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
Although most people aren’t aware of it there is a huge difference between BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and Gracie Jiu Jitsu. While many “BJJ” academies have to add boxing and “mma” to their schools AUTHENTIC Gracie Academies don’t have to as they are COMPLETE self defense systems incorporating kicking, punching, throwing, ground fighting and even weapons (knife, baton and handguns). Not only are the techniques different it’s the mentality that techniques must work in the street, with or without striking. The philosophy application and mechanics make all the difference. The Gracie Jiu Jitsu practitioner will feel smooth and light, using less force and exude greater self confidence knowing that what he learns works and has been proven by the Gracie Family for over 100 years.

Nexus family growing! It was with great honour being at Greenvale tonight, the performance exhibited was rather impressive of all that participated in the in house comp.
