We address musculoskeletal pain and limitation to put you back in the picture and enjoying life to the max. We treat people at all ages and stage of life including office workers, tradies, runners and other athletes, artists, students, performers, retired folk etc.
Our practice has several areas of special interest including:
- hip and groin pain (across all age groups)
- over-use injuries (sometimes referred to as RSI)
- fibromyalgia and other forms of chronic pain
- performance medicine (ie working with musculoskeletal conditions arising from dance, musicianship, peformance and visual arts)
- pain and injury associated with extreme sports (eg in rock-climbers, kite-surfers, wind-surfers, skater etc)
- helping pregnant women and new mums with pain associated with impending motherhood and/or looking after a new baby

This weekend just gone was spent brushing up on the latest thinking and approaches for hip arthroscopy rehab. Hip arthroscopy rehab is very specific. The correct exercises will progress the patient back to function, the wrong exercises will re-injure the hip. Falls kill three times as many Australians as car crashes - but we're not talking about it
Did you know that Mosaic Myotherapy does Falls and Balance Screening and, where warranted, does sessions in balance training for our patients? Falls are a huge problem in our community, and a major reason why people become unsafe in their own homes. What many people don't realise is that "more than 20 per cent of people die within a year of a fall that has caused a broken hip, and even more die of complications triggered by the event. Half of those who survive suffer a loss of independence." The picture is grim, however the good news about falls is that once we acknowledge the risk, prevention is possible. "There is so much we can do for prevention, if we could just get the message across. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and that really, really applies to falls."
