St Pius X Adamstown
Description
St Pius X HS is a junior, co-educational, Catholic secondary school, catering for students in Years 7 to 10. We are a junior, co-educational, Catholic secondary school, catering for students in Years 7 to 10. Currently just over 1000 students are enrolled making us the largest school in the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese.
Named after St Pius X, the School crest (top left) is modeled on the Pope’s coat of arms. The school motto ‘Omnia in Christo’ (all things in Christ) reminds staff and students that everything we do, we do for Christ, with the aim of making our world a better place for all.
Our community is built on the promotion of mutual respect and we work to make our school one that encourages growth and achievement. St Pius is a place where students are encouraged to think for themselves, be confident and happy and to cultivate a balanced attitude to life. Our vision is a school community that is authentically Catholic, just, caring and sensitive to the needs of all its members and committed to inspiring all students to do their best.
