6 weeks of holidays ahead! The excitement at assembly was bubbling over, tinged with some sadness as we farewelled our Year 6s, several teachers, staff and families who are moving on to new adventures. Thanks to all those volunteering to look after our chooks and garden over the break and a special thanks to our Principal Daniel and Deputy Emma for such a successful year. See you back in 2017! Your MPS P&C 🌲🌲🌲

Looking for ideas of where to walk or a ride in Canberra? Then here is a guidebook for you. It details 16 short walks or rides, between two to four hours long. Some take you through bush, and others explore Canberra’s icons. The book includes maps, highlights, nearby cafe stops, ideas for kid’s activities, and photos of Canberra's birdlife, animals and plants. The walks are part of Canberra’s Centenary Trail, a 145km walking and cycling track created to celebrate Canberra's 100th birthday. And we are selling copies for $25 ($29 RRP). Order your today or leave a message if you want to order a copy and don't have a child at Majura Primary School. Orders close 5 December with delivery week starting 19th December.
