I'm not one for doing many personal posts and I realise I have hardly posted at all lately sorry. I haven't forgotten you, I promise, I've just been having some much needed ME time! But this time of year always brings much reflection, and it's great to be able to look back and see where the year has gone and what lies ahead. My goal for 2015 was to get comfortable with being uncomfortable ... and I definitely did that! I went from Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, to Fitness Director at Goodlife Caloundra (and I love doing all three roles). I lost my last 10 kgs (50 kgs in total), overcame my fear of wearing a bikini and competed onstage in my first competition. I learnt a lot, laughed a lot and cried a lot, met some inspiring people and made some amazing new friends! I owe a huge thank you to my Goodlife family who have put up with me at work while I learnt on the job, and in particular to Mike Debenham who coached me through a difficult year, laughed at my bikini phobia and kicked my butt many times when I wanted to give up. So, what lies ahead for this year? I want to keep learning ... there is so much more about myself to discover and hopefully lots of new, exciting challenges to find along the way. I want to be fitter and stronger, and able to share that in a fun way with my clients as they travel their own path. I feel so privileged to be a part of the fitness and weightloss journey of so many inspiring women! 2016 is going to be fun, and I'm looking forward to whatever fitness adventures come my way! So what's your goal for 2016? It's YOUR life ... your dreams, your future. If you want to change something, it's all down to you. Dare to dream, and enjoy the journey of getting there!
