I was very saddened when I received the news that Bear passed yesterday, Hartwig, Bear and Cindy's owner contacted me as Bear and I had a special bond well Bear told me what he wanted and when he wanted it all 96 kg of him and I obeyed. If you have been in when the Leonbergers have been groomed you will know what gentle giants they are.The same day we were visited by Sophie without Sargent. Sargent passed early this year after battling major illness for a long time. Both Bear and Sargent have been visiting us at Hairy Barkers since we first opened so it is very much like losing part of our family. We will miss seeing there names in the appointment book and miss the chats with there owners who have become friends after all this time. Our thoughts are with both families.

This is Honey, one of our very first customers at Hairy Barkers Burpengary. Honey comes every 2 weeks for a bath and blow dry, she is now 10 years old. Honey is having a few health issues at the moment, but she still comes and sees us for her bath and dry, Honey had a big appointment on Friday at her vet and we are hoping for good news. We get to know and love your dogs and after this long they are part of our Hairy Barkers Family so we have all got our fingers crossed for Honey.

First visit for these 2 little sisters and they were so good. We look forward to seeing them grow up. Just a bath and brush and tidying those feet, more importantly they got used to the noises, smells and seeing lots of other dogs. They learn't today that grooming is not scary but can be quite fun. Hopefully setting them up that going to the groomers is a good experience.
