One thing that is extremely important to me in teaching, is ensuring that the students are being taught "correctly", not above their technical and mental ability, and making sure they're still having fun. I am so happy with the success CLSOD has had so far, with those learning from the Chrystal Lee School of Dance tiny tots program, now shining like little stars in Primary Ballet, Jazz etc. I believe that this is not only because of natural talent but because of the progressional style of learning we are using across all levels and the teachers ability to teach children with all methods of learning... One of the many great things about CLSOD is the ability to provide all of our kids with extra attention, not just those with a high level of potential, due to good structure and well thought out lesson plans. I can see an amazing year ahead of us this year, along with some additions such as Acrobatic Dance, eisteddfods and examinations in Ballet, Tap & Jazz, and growth in all of our classes. Woo Hoo! Concert DVDs have just arrived! If you are no longer a student, Please book in with me if you can come to collect from the following venues before my classes at the following times. - Monday, Hope Baptist Church 2:30pm - Wednesday, Hope Baptist Church 8:30am - Wednesday, Hope Baptist Church 3:15pm - Saturday, Narangba Hall 8:30am Please be mindful that once my classes start I will not be able to talk to anyone, so please be on time to collect. Current students, I will give them to your teacher, to be handed out in class.
