May 14th (Mothers Day) Outing to Winterbrook Falls area. Wonderful walk through mixed forest (via boardwalk) old rainforest, and Autumn fungi. King Billy Pines, & historic remains of sawmill, tramway, & snig trails. Bring your Fungi Flip, & Tree flip. Sturdy footwear, rain gear, and lunch. Julius River Forest Reserve/Balfour Track at the Tarkine

Thursday April 27th 12.30pm at the Seabrook Hotel Somerset it our monthly Burnie Field Nats social club luncheon. A chance for all to meet up. Please give Barbara Evans a call on 64423436 to book a spot. Everyone is encouraged to join us.. Lunch is usually around $14 mark, so very good value.

Don't forget this coming Sunday 23rd April we have an outing to the Tarkine area. We will be exploring the Balfour Track and Julius River Forest Reserve. Suitable for all! Sunday April 23rd Tarkine outing to Julius River Forest Circuit and the Balfour Track. Both these destinations contain a mixture of old Eucalypt & Rainforest types & a good selection of Fungi. Bus details 9am at Burnie Penguins/Somerset 9,10am/Wynyard Bus dpo 9.20am. Other pickups please call Geoff 64421253. We are using our 21 seat bus for this outing.
