Bairnsdale parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Mitchell Port Rd, Bairnsdale.
Bairnsdale parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

With the Mothers Day Classic next weekend, get down to parkrun tomorrow for a trial run/walk. The more kids/families we have at parkrun the better. We encourage all abilities to join us, including walkers. And if your injured, why not volunteer?! All the roles take no more than 1.5hrs of your time with no training or experience necessary

Set your alarms again! you dont want to miss this memorial event. Lots of history surrounding the Bairnsdale Rowing Club and the ANZACs. Registrations open 7am. Memorial Service at 7.45am for an 8am Start.

Another great turnout, thanks for all the smiles for the camera, pics may not necessarily be in order & thanks to my little apprentice photographer today.
Results have been processed and should be up on the website within the next hour or so. We may have had a slight technical difficulty for the first 15-20 runners this morning, so if you feel your posted time is incorrect, feel free to comment below on this post and I'll try and rectify it if you feel aggrieved. Thanks to all the vols today (plenty of spots for the upcoming weeks if you wish to help out) - and congratulations to Laz on Run number 50!

Congratulations to our very first parkrunner to achieve 50 parkruns - Laz Tanner! An outstanding effort! Laz has also volunteered 3 times and to date has a PB of 23.20! Well done Laz, your a superhero 👍🏃

Gold coin donation with all proceeds to the ANZAC appeal. Registrations open at 7am. 7.45am silent service at the Howitt Park Memorial. 8am start. Runners and walkers all welcome.
