The City of West Torrens' Facebook page is monitored and maintained between the hours of 8am and 5pm (ACST), Monday to Friday. Situated between the city and the sea, the City of West Torrens is made up of approximately 57,000 residents. The City of West Torrens spans an area of around 37 square kilometres and is made up of an eclectic mix of nationalities, many who are new migrants to our country.

We have a variety of residential and industrial areas, and a number of large shopping precincts, including Harbour Town and the Mile End Homemaker Centre. We are also the gateway for many travellers with the Adelaide Airport being located within our city.

What you can expect from us
Our page is monitored and maintained between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

We welcome your comments and questions and will reply to queries as soon as we can, however sometimes there may be a delay if we need to seek additional advice to respond to your query. It is important to us that we respond to you in a timely manner and, where possible, we will aim to respond to you within 24 hours (with the exception of weekends).
All comments and posts will be moderated by Council staff and language filtering programs will be used to block certain words. Therefore, there may be some time delay in posts appearing on our site.

What we expect from you
In order to ensure our page is friendly and welcoming for all visitors we ask that you:

Phone 8416 6333 for more information. It is important to remember to keep your furry friends' microchip details up to date so we can get them home safely if they are lost.

Found dog Found on Chippendale Ave in Fulham at 12.25pm on Thursday 27 April. Colour: Tan and white Age: puppy This pup will be looked after at Council until 2pm and then we’ll take it to the Animal Welfare League. Please contact us on 8416 6333 for more information. It is important to register your furry friend and keep their microchip details up to date so we can reunite you with them as quickly as possible if they get lost.
