Seasonal Job Opportunity

Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area is still accepting applications for Seasonal Employment! Several positions are available including front desk, custodial/maintenance, and ranger. You can apply online or at the office Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM.

Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center

This is why you should always pick up your trash. Leave it better then you found it.

If you show up to the Welcome Center tomorrow at 1:00PM expecting a snowshoe hike, you are going to be horribly disappointed. However, sources have stated that the Gavin's Point Nature is in excellent shape for a hike! Stay hydrated folks!

South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks

Minus the snow! Don't forget, we meet at the Welcome Center at 1:00PM! Be there or the Assistant Manager will cry, and she doesn't cry pretty.

Open House

Lewis & Clark is hosting an Open House event at the Welcome Center. Starting 12/27/2016 ending 12/30/2016. Every day from 9:00AM-4:00PM stop in to fill out an application for seasonal work at the park! If you are unable to attend, we never stop accepting applications!

First Day Fitness HIke

Ring in the New Year with a healthy start! We will meet at the Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area Welcome Center at 1:00PM. From their we will leave to go to the Gavins Point Nature Trail. Park Entrance license are required!
