Here are a couple of photos of our booth at the Landrush Antique Mall in Arkansas City, Kansas. They are open Tuesday through Sunday on Summit St. (that is Ark. City's main street) right downtown next to Graves Drugs. We didn't want to reopen our shop, and we didn't want to put all our stuff in an auction of some kind, so we opted for this. They really have a nice antique mall, and in the three weeks they've been open I think they've already had more business than we ever had in 8 years. Location, location, location. Unfortunately when I was building hunting in Winfield I was looking for a place to live as well as work, not for the best possible business site. I've repriced everything I've taken down there so it will sell quickly, go take a look you'll be surprised how inexpensive it is.

Finally. I have a new computer. The new computer has a new version of Photoshop. Yes, that means this 66 year old (almost 67) lady has to learn new stuff. Oh Horrors! New stuff. Life may never be the same. When I was in grad school at The University of Kansas our motto in reference to computers was "Nothing ever works". That motto is still good today. But I think maybe I have a photo or two I can put up. While viewing these photos keep in mind: new computer, new software, old lady. These are from our violet show in Wichita Falls, TX April 8. 1st photo is part of head table with my best mini, best semimini (also best in show) best unusual container/best trailer. Second photo is of my dish garden which got best design. John wanted me to put some rocks right in the front, but I decided if I did that I might get a lecture from Mr. Bill about overkill. Which is also the reason I don't have little Hagen Renaker animals placed all over the garden. It did turn out kinda nice, I thought myself. Not sure I have any real design talent, sometimes it works, and sometimes you wonder what I was thinking.

Don't miss the opening today of the Land Rush Antique Mall at 208 S, Summit St., Arkansas City, KS. We've moved a lot of our antiques down there and have the largest booth in the mall. Go take a look. I will be adding more antiques every week. Shwon here is a Dryden Original bell, you can see it at the mall.
Oh, yes, the Kohleria Strawberry Fields pictured here got a best in class, I really expected it to get Best Other Gessie, but it could not compete with my Petrocosmea yumebutai that had so many flowers you couldn't count them all.
I had four plants make it to the head table at the Tulsa Show, I got Best Miniature, Best Semiminiature, Best Sinningia, and Best Other Gesneriad. Yep, I was happy. Will try to get photos up later.
