WALH-FM Radio - Ken Houghtaling, Jeff Rhein & John Cummings

Welcome to the first in a series of Podcasts presented by Mental Health Recovery Services of Warren & Clinton Counties on the opiate epidemic in southern Ohio. This first Podcast includes Jeff Rhein & John Cummings of MHRS and Ken Houghtaling of the Clinton County Common Pleas Court and first aired on WALH-FM radio on April 18, 2017.

WALH-LP FM Radio is pleased to announce a new series of Podcasts presented by Mental Health Recovery Services of Warren and Clinton Counties, focusing on topics related to Opiate and heroin addiction. Topics will range from the history of heroin, elements of addiction, individual, family and societal harms, treatment, relapse, and the burdens faced by law enforcement and the criminal justice system. These podcasts are recorded at and are produced by WALH-LP FM Radio and presented in hopes of educating and helping the hundreds of local individuals affected by substance abuse and addition. The podcasts will begin airing on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 at 12:00 noon and again at 4:00 pm, although times may occasionally change. WALH-LP FM Radio wishes to thank Mental Health Recovery Services of Warren and Clinton Counties for its support of community radio and for its efforts to make our area a good and safe place to work and live.

WALH-FM is still streaming at walhlpfm.com. Our over-the-air broadcast will be down for a few days while we relocate out antenna to a higher structure in Wilmington. Hang in there with us while we get the equipment moved. Climbing a 100' structure is no easy task for a couple of old rockers. This extra height should get our signal well into Sabina, New Vienna, Port William, and perhaps even Clarksville.
