Due to the holiday, please know that all Nemours duPont Pediatric primary and specialty care offices are closed on Monday, January 2nd. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 3rd.If your child is sick, you can call your primary care office phone number to speak to a nurse for home care advice. If your child needs to be seen urgently, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children’s Emergency Department is open 24 hours per day. You may also visit Nemours Urgent Care in Glen Mills (across from Wegmans) from 9 am – 6 pm.

In 2012, Emma needed a liver transplant. Her mom Tiffany was the donor. Emma wanted to help brighten the day of other children in need of transplants. So she and her mom stopped by recently with 8 tickets to Disney on Ice! Three liver transplant patients and their families will be using the tickets. Thank you Emma and Tiffany! Winterfest at duPont Hospital for Children
Every year during the holiday season the Delaware State Police and Delaware State Troopers Association help our Child Life team put on an amazing Winterfest celebration for our patients and families. And this year was no exception! Food, music, crafts, stuffed animals, costumed characters, and a visit from Santa were enjoyed by so many of our families.Thank you to the Delaware State Police and Troopers for your time and generosity!

Okay so this might just be me, actually it probably is just me... But I've always wondered if anyone else felt this way. So you now how people always ask if your back hurts all the time. And I usually say, most of the time. But then I think... Am I in constant pain but I don't know anything else so my body is just used to it? And that if I where to be in someone else's body I would just be amazed at how incredible my back felt. Again, very random. Just wanted to say that out loud.
