We would like to officially welcome Frank Rodriguez who joined us at the begining of the school year as the assistant band director. Frank, who was a member of La Serna Band when he attended LS, graduated in 2012 and attended CSULB where he graduated with a degree in music education in 2017. She’s here! Our newest Lancer band member, Katherine Elizabeth Rohrs, made her entrance into this world this morning at 1:30 a.m., all 7 lbs. 1 oz. of her! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Rohrs! ❤️

This Saturday is the benefit concert for La Serna Band alum and fallen Whittier Police Department officer Keith Boyer. Today Fox 11 news came out to Whittier Police Dept. to do a promo about the upcoming benefit concert in memory of Whittier Police Department Keith Boyer. The concert is to help raise funds for the Keith Boyer Memorial Scholarship for La Serna band and choir students. Our drumline will be opening the show on the 17th! Keith's parents were kind enough to pose for a photo with the kids.
