Offering class for children ages 3-18 in creative movement, ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary. We also offer adaptive dance. If you're looking for professional dance classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap, in addition to outstanding performance and competition opportunities, look no further than South Shore Dance Academy. We are a unique dance studio and performing company located on the south shore of Massachusetts and home to nationally recognized instructors and choreographers. South Shore Dance Academy (SSDA) is founded on the principles of strong work ethic, discipline and dedication, professional instruction, a sense of pride that comes from personal accomplishment, and a lifelong love and appreciation for dance.
South Shore Dance Academy is happy to announce the creation of two performance groups: a competition team and a community service ensemble. Dancers interested in competing will learn a variety of group routines and, if interested, solos/duos/trios. Those interested in the community service ensemble will also learn a number of dances and will perform at local schools, nursing homes, hospitals, and other community events. Each year, this ensemble will put on donation-based performances, with the proceeds being donated to local charities.
