The Upper Crust Italian Bistro is a family-owned restaurant in the heart of Washington, Pa located just down the street from the courthouse. Our staff takes pride in serving authentic hand tossed, wood-fired, brick oven pizza. Our thin crust pizza is perfectly charred on the edges to compliment the sweetness of our tomatoes in our homemade sauce. Our pizzas are topped with our house cheese blend of mozzarella and two types of provolone, finished with fresh Parmesan reggiano. Our menu includes a variety of appetizers, including homemade soups and freshly made bruschetta and olive tapanade. Our salads are made with only the freshest ingredients. Fresh pasta made daily such as homemade lasagna, Fra Diavalo and classis spaghetti and meatballs. Our specialty sandwiches, toasted if preferred, are proudly created with Boars Head meats and Breadworks bread, a great combination for a fantastic sandwich. In addition to our sit-down restaurant, we also have a dessert case that is filled with homemade cheesecakes, tiramisu, and cannolis, a perfect pair with a cup of freshly brewed La Prima coffee. We are open for lunch and dinner and are BYOB welcome. There are no corking fees, just bring your bottle and some good company and come join us for a relaxing meal with a taste of authentic Italian cuisine you'll be sure to love.
