“I created State of Wonder on The Washington Ballet ten years ago and the work, while abstract, is influenced by several things: Glenn Gould's The Goldberg Variations; reflections upon how we as contemporary people living in a contemporary world relate to our classical past; and Bach's music itself,” shares Septime Webre about his piece State of Wonder.
