facebook.comWe are making plans for our Twenty-Fourth annual Taste of Daviess County. This year our theme is "Hoosier Hysteria." Proceeds will go toward the Scholarship of Youth, which helps those children who cannot afford Y programs and memberships. The date of the event will be Monday, April 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Building at the Eastside Park. If you know anyone who is interested in participating, please contact Lorrie at 254-4481.
Mark you calendars! Upcoming lifeguard classes beginning March 23-25. Fee is $130.00. Times are 6-9pm Thursday and Friday and 9-12 on Saturday 9-3. MUST be able to swim 300 meters, dive down 10 feet and tread water for 2 minutes without using your arms. Call the Y at 812-254-4481 to get registered before March 17th.
Aqua combo returns March 6 at 6:00 pm and will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays. You are welcome to try the class for free one time to see how you like it. See you then!
