Hello Summer! We have plans for you! Our gift shop will be opening at 7 a.m. on May 16 and 30 as well as June 13 and 27, 2017. We want to make sure you get your tickets to any of our summer attractions…Kennywood, Idlewild, Sandcastle or the Pittsburgh Zoo. We have the lowest prices anywhere in the area but have a limited quantity, so come and get the tickets while they are here! Make a date with Summer and have some fun while the sun shines and the skies are blue!

We are celebrating the March for Babies Walk in the WHS Washington Hospital Nursery. The walk is Saturday May 20th at 10am. If you are a WHS Employee that utilizes the healthcare benefits we offer, the walk counts for 50 Wellness points (it counts for your spouse too). The WHS Washington Hospital Auxiliary recently presented a check for $125,000, the largest donation to date, to the Washington Health System Foundation during an auxiliary luncheon. Rich Mahoney, VP and Chief Development Officer at Washington Heath System states, “The WHS Foundation is grateful to this group of volunteers for their years of dedication and fundraising. Their donations truly impact our hospital and allow us to, in turn, provide great patient care.” Past donations, totaling over $6.2 million dollars, from the Washington Hospital Auxiliary have assisted the hospital with purchasing new equipment, numerous renovations projects and expanded services that benefit patients and community.
