We are currently accepting new or like new children’s books to be used in the 2017 Summer Reading Program. These books will be given to every child when they sign up for the program as well as part of the weekly prizes. If you have any new or like new books that need a good home, please consider donating. Thank you to everyone who have donated pajamas for the Boston Bruins PJ Drive so far! If you would like to donate, there's still time! The drive is running through March 15th in the Children's Room. We are accepting new PJ's for children sizes birth to teen. They will benefit the Department of Children and Families and Cradles to Crayons.

Mad Science Dinosaur Workshop

Mad Science came by to host a Dinosaur Workshop at the library. Stations were set up for the kids to rotate to. There was a digging station, a sifting station, a Stegosaurus table and a table where the kids could identify the different toy dinosaurs. "This program is funded in full or in part by a Coordinated Family and Community Engagement grant from the MA Department of Early Education and Care, which is administered by the Collaborative for Educational Services." Thank you as well to the Friends of the Library who helped fund part of this program!

Come by the library today to watch Finding Nemo (Rated PG) with us at 2:00pm in the Reading Room! This event is free and open to the public. All ages welcome. There will be snacks for the kids as well. Hope to see you there!
