To make the museum's more than 90 exhibits engaging we have many high quality props that intrigue our guests. One such prop is Morris the Mouse who typical sits on a potato sack next to the family atop the canal boat on our second floor. However, last evening he must have been exploring because we found him in a different exhibit. Next time you are in make sure you look for Morris and the many other characters who "live" at the museum.

Being as today's First Friday event hosts the Miami Nation of Indiana - a picture of the Miami Indian band seemed like a great choice for Friday. In this photograph, taken at Me Shin Go Me Sia's church (west of LaFontaine). In the first row, far right, you may recognize Dr. James T. Biggerstaff - who was on hand to fill out the band, as well as George Godfroy (top left corner) grandson of Chief Francis Godfroy.
