The mission of the Temple Public Library is to strengthen and enrich the community by providing assistance and instruction in locating and evaluating information needed for self-directed personal growth, satisfying leisure experiences, and cultural understanding.

March is Women's History Month, and we're celebrating with a number of activities in the Children's Department. Join us for a Women's History Film Fest on March 12 @ 3PM, and stop in anytime to take a Rosie the Riveter photo and complete a scavenger hunt. Thank you to Friends of the Library for sponsoring these activites.

The Friends' Used Book Sale opens at 10 a.m. this morning (3rd floor of the Library). This is bag day so for $5 you can get all the books you can fit into the bag (bag provided by Friends). And yes, you can 'purchase' more than one bag. The Sale closes at 4 p.m. today.
