Holy Name Medical Center
Description
Since 1925 - We provide high quality health care across a continuum that encompasses education, prevention, early intervention, comprehensive treatment options, rehabilitation and wellness maintenance - from pre-conception through end-of-life. For over 85 years, Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ has provided the communities and families of northern New Jersey with compassionate medical and nursing care, continued technological advances, and an environment of healing dedicated to the needs of each individual patient. This complete level of health care excellence is not only what our patients rely upon; it's the very foundation in which we pride ourselves.
Founded and sponsored in 1925 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, Holy Name Medical Center has evolved into a comprehensive 361- bed acute care medical center, yet we still recall our community Medical Center roots by demonstrating a level of personalized care lost in many of today's long and short term medical care facilities.

Opinion: Reinforcing the need to get vaccines
Vaccination of children to protect against preventable diseases such as measles, mumps, whooping cough and hepatitis to name just a few has been one of the greatest medical accomplishments in the United States....In New Jersey, while 92.5 percent of children entering kindergarten are immunized (and in Bergen and Passaic counties the percentages are higher than the state average), the number is quickly going down and that isn't good. They’ve set lower standards they think you’ll accept -- tell them you won’t. Learn how below, and be sure to share this message with your family and friends!

The same hospital I got married in because of my mom's stroke is the same hospital my grandma is spending her final days. I am blessed to be with her during this time and with my family. Nothing matters in this moment. Only family.
