Swampscott Police is taking part in a National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration. The kiosk, located in our station's lobby, will accept the following: Prescriptions, Prescription Patches, Prescription Medications, Prescription Ointments, Over the Counter Medications, Vitamins, Samples, and Medications for Pets. We are unable to accept the following: Needles, Epipens, Sharps, Inhales, Misters, Aerosols, Liquids, Gels, Pastes, Ointments, Lotions, Thermometers, and Medications from Businesses or Clinics. ONLY MEDICATIONS FROM A PHARMACY ARE ACCEPTED. We welcome the public to come to the station's kiosk anytime, but are promoting the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
