The City of Storm Lake would like to inform residents that the construction on 10th and Russell Street is still not complete. Therefor standing water is expected until project is complete.

The City of Storm Lake is accepting nomination papers for Mayor and two City Council positions for the election this fall. Candidates seeking these positions must be residents living within the City of Storm Lake. Nomination Papers can be picked up at City Hall (620 Erie Street), County Auditor’s Office (215 E 5th Street), or on the Secretary of State’s Website: https://sos.iowa.gov/elections/cities.html. Nomination papers must be filed at City Hall no later than 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017.

Seasonal Position The City of Storm Lake is accepting applications for the position for a Parks Maintenance Worker. Major Job duties include mowing, trimming, cleaning, and other general maintenance duties including some plumbing and mechanical work.
