The results are in... the teachers were defeated by the students with a basket at the buzzer. They were AMAZING!
Meadow Brook parents, Just wanted to remind parents again about our behavior incentive swimming activity tomorrow. An email was sent last Friday but I am including the information below. It is supposed to be 70 degrees tomorrow so please make sure your child has sunscreen. Below is the information I sent out last Friday: It has been a wonderful year and we are excited to finish it off with a school swimming party. This activity is a behavior incentive for students that have made good choices over the year and haven’t received too many tickets. This activity is for all students grades 1-6 and will be at the Spanish Fork Pool on Thursday, May 25 starting at 12:45. This is an activity we have done for the past few years at my last school and was a big hit with the students. For safety, younger students are not allowed out of the shallow end unless they can show us they can swim sufficiently on their own. Lifeguards and teachers supervise to make sure the students are safe. We also welcome parents to come and help monitor, especially for the younger students. Parents that want to help supervise may bring younger siblings, but only students in grades 1-6 are allowed in the pool during this time as we will fill the pool with our own students. The plan is that we will enter the pool around 12:40 on Thursday (once the other school swimming before us exits the pool) and swim until 2:00. Students can wear their swimsuit to school and just wear clothes over it or change at the pool. Please make sure your child has sunscreen as it should be a warm day. Thank you for all of the support we have received this year. I am constantly amazed by the wonderful students, parents and grand-parents that have helped make this year the best one ever!! --Mr. Pitcher
